clarisonic - follow up

Hi girls! I figured it was time for a follow up-post about my Clarisonic  since I've been using it for 3½ weeks now. It takes about three weeks for the skin cells to renew themself; therefore you should always try a facial product for three weeks before evaluating it. Anyway, I didn't really have a skin problem before I started using my Clarisonic, just a few small pores on my forehead. I won’t go as far as saying they're totally gone, but they have defiantly gotten a lot better. That's really the only big difference I can tell with my skin, so while a Clarisonic might not be life changing, I think it's defiantly worth it if you have a bigger skin problem. Xxx

Hi girls! I did so much shopping in London that we actually managed to get overweight on our luggage, haha! But luckily we didn't have to pay extra :) One of the things I picked up was two new Essie nail polishes. I love Essie, but of course they're twice the English price in Sweden. This time I went for the colors 'Licorice' and 'Mint Candy Apple'. What do you think? Xxx

Hi girls! So yesterday I bought a Clarisonic. It's probably my biggest beauty splurge ever, at least what I can remember, haha. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's an electric facial cleaner. You put in on your face for a minute, and it cleans six times better than just using your hands. I've been really curious about for like a year, since I read that Lauren Conrad (and lots of others) swears by it. As usual with everything, Sweden is light years behind, it's just came here like a month ago. While looking for pics for this post, I realized that you they come in different colors (like pink) and patterns and everything. But of course they only offer the white one here. I'll give you an update in a few weeks if it's worth the money or not, I certainly hope it lives up to my sky-high expectations :) ♥

Hi girls! As most other girls, I'm a totally nail polish-junkie, I have way too much! One of my favorite brands are Essie, they almost last a whole week without chipping which is perfect for me as I'm too lazy to re-do them too often. Anyway, one of my favorite beauty website just had a three-for-two-deal on them, so I seized the moment, and got the following. I just love their names, so cute:) ♥

Clinique all about eyes concealer

Hey guys! With all the shopping I did in England, I was a bit worried that I would get overweight on my luggage, but it was fine. Anyway, one of the things I picked up at the tax free at Gatwick was this concealer. I've had the touché éclat for so long now, so I felt that it was a time for a change. So far I'm really satisfied with this one, my dark rings are vanished!  Speaking of nothing, I still have a sore throat from the karaoke on Wednesday, haha. Xxx

my five next beauty buys

1. Morocanoil Oil Treatment. I'm probably the last person in world to try this, but since I have the perfect hair for it (dry and curly) I hope it'll work wonders on my hair too!

2. Dr Hauschka Neem Nail Oil Pen. One of those miracle products beauty bloggers always raves about; guess I have to try it then!

3. Osis Dust It Mattiyfying Powder. It's supposed to give your hair volume, which I have a bit too much of on some days (think Carrie, season 1 of SATC) but maybe this could help create a more controlled volume.

4. Goldwell Dualsenses Scalp Regulation Shampoo - Anti Dandruff. I'm always on the lookout for a good anti-dandruff shampoo since I think Head & Shoulders look so boring.

5. bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation. I haven't bothered to buy a new foundation since my last one ran out back in the spring. But with fall coming, I guess I have to get a move on.

During my shopping spree on Saturday, I of course had to go by the newly opened Sephora store at Biblioteksgatan. I can't really say that I was impressed; it was just as a regular cosmetic store in Sweden except that they sold Nars and a couple of other 'exclusive' brands. I picked up this body lotion which I love, but now I discovered that I paid 170 sek ($26) for something that costs $7 at sephora.com. Needless to say, I'll stay away from Swedish Sephora and continuing shop there while travelling instead.
