Hi girls :) This is what I've been walking around in today. Not the most interesting day though; I went to the gym this morning for the first time in 11 days (but who's counting, right? haha). During the afternoon I went to the hospital to donate blood (proud blood donor for the past 4 years) and then I stopped by the health store, drug store and food store on my way back home. Tonight my boyfriend and I are cooking dinner together for the first time in weeks, date night :)

cheesecake

This evening I had my friend Joanna over for dinner. For dessert I made this super easy cheesecake which I found at Sofi's blog a couple of months ago. Since this is probably the best cheesecake I've ever had, I'd like to share the recipe here if you want to give it a go.

(Serves 4)

250 g raspberries (I used frozen)

250 g Philadelphia cream cheese (I used light)

1 dl whipped cream

3 tablespoons powdered sugar

2 tablespoons sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla sugar

6 st Digestive crackers

30 g butter

Boil half of the berries with the sugar and vanilla sugar, let it cool down. Whip Philadelphia cheese, powdered sugar and whipped cream to a fluffy cream. Crumble the digestive, melt the butter and mix. Mix raspberries, the cream, the berry mixture and the crackers in a glass or high bowl.

During my shopping spree on Saturday, I of course had to go by the newly opened Sephora store at Biblioteksgatan. I can't really say that I was impressed; it was just as a regular cosmetic store in Sweden except that they sold Nars and a couple of other 'exclusive' brands. I picked up this body lotion which I love, but now I discovered that I paid 170 sek ($26) for something that costs $7 at sephora.com. Needless to say, I'll stay away from Swedish Sephora and continuing shop there while travelling instead.

Wow, is my blog on fire today or what? Three posts in one day, haha. Anyways, I just wanted to show you what I've been wearing today. With it being 26 degrees in Stockholm today, a sundress was the only possible solution. This one is about five years old, but I still love it. Anyhow, my day has consisted of a lunch with my boyfriend and his best friend (which is also a very good friend of mine) and a bit of 'How I met your mother'. Now we're at my boyfriend's parents' house and are planning to spend the rest of the weekend with popcorn in front of True Blood.

Hi girls! I went shopping in Stockholm yesterday, and managed to pick up this skirt at Topshop. It was marked down 70 % and there was only one left which fit me perfectly, such luck. This picture really doesn't do it at any justice; I'll show it in an outfit soon.

Bad blogging these past days, but I guess life got in the way. This is what I wore on Friday, when we headed for Stockholm as soon as the workday was over. We stopped by my mom's boyfriend's holiday house on the way, and had dinner, such a beautiful place. In Stockholm we went straight to my boyfriend's parents' house and had a quiet night in.

This is what I wore for yesterday's dinner party. My boyfriend is (among others) responsible for a group of international students who have been living here during the summer, but yesterday it was their goodbye-party. The theme was international cooking, so my boyfriend and I did a Swedish sponge cake for dessert. Now I'm up way too early and off to work, have a great day everyone.

the carrie diaries

One of my guilty pleasures is to watch The Carrie Diaries. Although I'm probably not the target group - obsessing about prom and losing your virginity isn't really on my mind anymore - I find it so addictive. Probably because I'm a huge SATC-fan, although it's a bit annoying that the Carrie Diaries isn't coherent with SATC. Anyways, with season 2 coming up this fall we'll meet some new characters, one of them being Ms. Samantha Jones. She's being played by someone called Lindsay Gort, who seems to be quite a rising star. Anyways, I can't wait for October 25 (excluding the horrible fall weather that is).

This is what I wore for our date night this evening. We tried a new restaurant called Meza which served Lebanese cooking. We ordered a mixture of twenty small dishes and most of them were divine. I've spent the rest of the evening on the sofa in a food coma in front of True Blood, haha.

Hello sunshine! So here comes my second outfit post, taken outside our house this morning. Today it’s three years ago since my boyfriend and I started dating, I wanna call it our three year anniversary but I think that's only if you're married. Anyhow, this is what I've been wearing today as we've been celebrating. We started off with having breakfast at Café Java this morning, love it. Then we spent some time shopping for our apartment, I'm really looking forward to when we get it all where it's supposed to be. Now I'm gonna start getting ready for our date tonight, we're trying a new restaurant.

OK, so this is what I've been wearing today. I've had a long day starting at 5.50 this morning when my alarm went off, woop woop. I was at work from 7-13.30, and then I had a fika (Swedish word that simply doesn't translate, it means to have a coffee or a snack) with my good friend Sanne. This evening I picked up my boyfriend at the train station as he has been at his family's holiday house in Finland this past week. He got me the flowers which I'm holding in the picture, so sweet :)

Hi everyone who's reading this. I've had different blogs for years but as I now have gotten some long-gone inspo to blog again, I'd thought I would a make fresh start with this blog. As the name of the blog hints; I'm a nurse...or in two years I will be at least. I'd thought I'd spice this blog up with some super original blogger-things like outfits etc so stay tuned.
